Yappy Hour at Rancho Las Palmas
& Santa Paws Food / Toy Drive
Time: 4pm - 6pm event
Location: Rancho Las Palmas Resort, 41-000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage (across from The River Mall)
About: Bring a donation item of dog or cat food or formula, and an unused pet toy! Bring your favorite pooch or pooches (on a leash) and enjoy one of the best patios in the Desert! The setting is ideal for relaxing and socializing with friends and fellow animal lovers. And half of the proceeds benefit Animal Samaritans!
Mission: Proceeds go to help rescue, feed, shelter, provide medical care for, and adopt out animals in need!
Cost: $10 for two drinks! ($5 goes to Animal Samaritans and the animals!)
December 21 (Saturday)
Paws 'N Claus
Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm
Place: The Gardens on El Paseo, Palm Desert. Look for Santa outside of Saks Fifth Avenue.
About: Have your pooch pose for a photo with Santa! Makes for great holiday greeting cards and Face book posts!
Cost: The $10 fee will go to Animal Samaritans to help the animals!

Men of the Desert Fashion Show 2014
Time: 11:00am - 2:00pm
Place: Hyatt Regency Indian Wells
About: Enjoy a reception, luncheon, fashion show, live entertainment, and live auction! This year's theme is "Puppy Love." Animal Samaritans presents the 5th annual Men of the Desert Fashion Show, featuring models and their well-behaved pooches strutting down the runway. Local models will feature men's apparel from Saks Fifth Avenue. The pairing of models and dogs is a reminder to all in attendance what the event is about: raising money to help animals! The Mistress of Ceremonies is Patti Gribow. Event Co-Chairs are Don Genhart and Michael Phipps. Honorary Co-Charis include: Mayor Mary T. Roache, Indian Wells; Mayor Yvonne Parks, Desert Hot Springs; Tom Davis, Chief Planning Officer, Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians; Dayna and Wayne Abravanel, Conductor/Musical Director, Coachella Valley Symphony.
