Executive Assistant – Part-time

JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Executive Assistant will serve as the right hand to executives in the organization, specifically the CEO for Animal Samaritans.


  • Answers and screens phone calls, sets appointments and maintains calendar accurately
  • Prepares correspondence
  • Takes dictation quickly and accurately
  • Creates, organizes and maintains filing systems and databases
  • Organizes travel arrangements when necessary
  • Manages, procures, and maintains office supplies
  • Maintains Admin office facilities
  • Prepares and submits expense reports
  • Plans internal meetings, events, luncheons, etc.
  • Works closely with executives on projects
  • Prepares CEO materials for board meetings and presentations
  • Serves as CEO liaison to the board when appropriate
  • Completes all projects and special assignments by establishing objectives and priorities, maintaining cooperation, monitoring progress, and bringing to completion
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Experience working as an assistant or executive assistant
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, et al
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
