Pet First Aid/CPR

Animal Samaritans' SPCA employs one of the area's few Pet CPR trainers who is certified by the American Red Cross. During a Pet Wellness Seminar session, participants will learn life-saving CPR for their pets, as well as basic pet first aid (which does not substitute for the care of a professional veterinarian). In addition, pet owners attending a Pet Wellness class will review disaster preparedness with consideration for pets as well as humans, and information about pet safety in extreme heat. All participants will receive a Pet First Aid and CPR book and an American Red Cross certificate of completion.
