DOG DAYS OF SUMMER ARRIVE EARLY WITH ANIMAL EXPO AT HOTEL ZOSO TO BENEFIT ANIMAL SAMARITANS

(Palm Springs, CA)-June 8, 2007-It's all about your dog on Saturday, June 23, 2007 when Hotel Zoso hosts the Desert Cities Animal Expo. Pet lovers and their pooches will delight in a full day of bonding, pampering and activities from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Refreshments and food will be available from Deezer Dog in honor of National Hot Dog Month along with the eatz Restaurant patio, which is open to dogs for the day. Admission is free and a portion of sales from vendor will benefit Animal Samaritans SPCA.

The Expo will feature booths providing fun activities, educational resources, and on-site experts for virtually every dog and their owners' needs including animal trainer presentations, animal CPR demonstrations, and Animal Therapy Training information. Adoptable animals will be on site from local Shelters Including Riverside County and Animal Samaritans SPCA. A vendor fair will feature businesses such as Lucky Puppy, Pampered Pets, Bones-n-Scones, Gental Dental, and more. Guide Dogs of the Desert will have booths and demonstrations as will the Palm Springs K-9 unit. To spice up the day, there will be a Best Pet Costume Contest, a Pet-Owner Look-a-Like Contest, and a Best Pet Trick Contest.
