Mount Aukum CA— Mixed Breed— Animal Samaritans proudly announces the  release of Mixed Breed, a red wine created by the C.G. Di Arie Winery to help support the programs and services of Animal Samaritans, the Coachella Valley’s leading animal welfare organization dedicated to Improving the Lives of Animals and People.

On Friday, September 1, from 1pm – 3pm, C.G. Di Arie’s will be pouring their Mixed Breed wine for tasting at the Palm Desert Total Wine store, located at the Desert Crossing Shopping Center at Fred Waring Drive and Hwy 111. Animal Samaritans will be on site to celebrate their unique partnership.

A Win-Win
Each bottle of MIXED BREED that is sold represents a donation by the C.G. Di Arie Winery to help care for animals in need. With every sip of this hand-crafted Sierra Foothills red wine (a blend of 5 red grape varieties), animal lovers can take pride knowing a portion of the MIXED BREED purchase price will be donated to help fund programs and services dedicated to saving the lives of healthy and treatable animals.

“Enjoying a world class wine while helping animals in need,” said Winemaker Chaim Gur-Arieh “is a win-win!”

Tom Snyder, CEO of Animal Samaritans remarks, “Today’s consumers are more conscientious than ever; they like to buy products with a cause. Rescuing, repairing, sheltering and adopting out animals in need is obviously great a cause.”

Mixed Breed is available at Total Wine and More, on line at the winery web-site and at the C.G. Di Arie tasting room in Plymouth, California. Please visit the winery web site for details.

Financial Stewardship

We know you have many choices when it comes to how to invest your philanthropic dollars, and Animal Samaritans takes seriously the stewardship of your investment in us.

The Wise Giving Alliance of the Better Business Bureau recommends that nonprofits not spend more than 35 cents on the dollar of its budget on administration and fundraising.

At Animal Samaritans that number is, year over year, close to 10 cents on the dollar. That means the other 90 cents goes to our mission and our services.

That’s just one of the reasons that Animal Samaritans, for more than 4 decades, has been among Southern California’s most trusted animal welfare organizations.

pets. not profits

At our state-of-the-art veterinary clinics, we’re there to provide your animals with the highest quality care, not to make a profit.

Because of your support, we are expanding this mission to broader and more diverse communities.

12,000 Animals saved!

Our Adoption Alliance Rescue Program has saved the lives of more than 12,000 animals. And were just getting started. We work with the local shelters to place animals they do not have the resources or staff to handle.  Thanks to donations like yours, we do!
