Sponsor a Pet

Sponsor and Name a Homeless Pet!

Sponsor and name a homeless pet for $40 dollars and Animal Samaritans will mention the pet by the name you’ve given it on live TV!

Give us your name and town of residence and we will thank you on air!  (First and Last name, or first name only, it’s your choice). For example, “Mandy Jones from Cathedral City” Or “Alex from Indio.” Your tax deductible donation will go toward the care of our adoptable pets and no-kill animal shelter.

Thank you for your financial support to the animals in our care and for giving the animals a name!

Watch KESQ TV channel 3 Wednesday afternoons at 12:40pm and Friday mornings at 6:20am to see our pet adoption segments on live TV and hear our shout-out to you and your sponsored pet.

*Naming a homeless shelter pet. Please specify if you want to name a cat, dog, or either one. Animal Samaritans reserves the right to reject names it deems inappropriate for any reason.  Names considered insensitive, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate will not be accepted.
**If the number of pet sponsors far exceeds the number of animals in our shelter, adoptable pets may be sponsored by more than one donor at a time.

Financial Stewardship

We know you have many choices when it comes to how to invest your philanthropic dollars, and Animal Samaritans takes seriously the stewardship of your investment in us.

The Wise Giving Alliance of the Better Business Bureau recommends that nonprofits not spend more than 35 cents on the dollar of its budget on administration and fundraising.

At Animal Samaritans that number is, year over year, close to 10 cents on the dollar. That means the other 90 cents goes to our mission and our services.

That’s just one of the reasons that Animal Samaritans, for more than 4 decades, has been among Southern California’s most trusted animal welfare organizations.

pets. not profits

At our state-of-the-art veterinary clinics, we’re there to provide your animals with the highest quality care, not to make a profit.

Because of your support, we are expanding this mission to broader and more diverse communities.

12,000 Animals saved!

Our Adoption Alliance Rescue Program has saved the lives of more than 12,000 animals. And were just getting started. We work with the local shelters to place animals they do not have the resources or staff to handle.  Thanks to donations like yours, we do!
