My story: Copper thinks he’s big and bad, but really he’s just a snuggle bug softy. This gentle little soul is so sweet and kind but he doesn’t just jump without looking. He is cautious and reserved at first, making VERY sure he is safe to be himself. Once he feels confident, Copper settles right in to cuddles and play time.

Note: Our policies exist to protect the safety and well-being of our animals, adopters, and staff. We understand they may not work for everyone, and that’s okay. Decisions are never personal — they are made with the animal’s best interest in mind. Thank you to everyone who supports rescue and understands the responsibility behind it.
