My Story: Henry can be selective when it comes to other dogs, so slow, proper introductions are important. With patience and the right approach, he may have an easier time making new canine friends. A dog-free home may also be a wonderful fit for him. At this stage in his life, Henry deserves a family who will give him the love, patience, and security he needs to enjoy his golden years. He has already experienced a heartbreaking loss, and now it’s time for him to find a new person to love and call his own.
Note: Our policies exist to protect the safety and well-being of our animals, adopters, and staff. We understand they may not work for everyone, and that’s okay. Decisions are never personal they are made with the animal’s best interest in mind.
