Now in it's 12th year, Animal Samaritans Summer Critter Camps have been something local children look forward to attending each summer.

Organized by Animal Samaritans Humane Educator Diana Martinez, these popular camps teach children the importance of pet responsibility, being kind to animals, and each other.

During Critter Camp attendees also learn about animal related careers with a focus on creating future Veterinarians. Campers enjoy hands on experience with a variety of animals and wildlife, and they get their creative juices flowing with lots of animal themed arts and crafts projects. Summer Critter Camp makes learning about our animal friends an exciting experience for our young campers.

Upcoming camps are scheduled at the Desert Hot Springs Recreation Center and the Family Resource Centers in Desert Hot Springs and Mecca.
